Hey All,
I'm extremely interested in trying my hand at D&D. I relocated to DC at the start of the summer and over the past year have become increasingly interested in the game through real play podcasts (such as Godsfall, Drunks and Dragons, and The Adventure Zone) and purchased the player's handbook to learn more about actually playing the game. I've always been pretty drawn to high fantasy however can't say many of my friends have ever gravitated towards the same interest. I'd love the opportunity to join a game if possible and figured since this pod was started in DC, the forums might be a good place to start to find local games.
