Recently started binging the podcast eps and am totally in love!
I'm dying to do some fanart for you guys, but if there were any character descriptions (aside from Xion and Pera who I believe were described as somewhat middle eastern?), I can't recall (2 days in and I'm on ep 17, so I've been pretty much blasting through it). I know you have some art already, but it seems to be mainly black and white?
Would it be too much trouble to get some descriptions up here? Maybe hair/skin/eye color, hair cut/style/texture, any other distinguishing features (scars, jewelry, anything you all find to be important visual aspects of your characters etc).
Thank you!

you should totally do the theoretical 'Dolphin with a beard' that Torvik would turn into. Its in, I believe, Ep. 38.

Sorry it took me a while to get back here: Our website was down for a bit and I didn't think to check the forums. We have some amazing official artwork coming soon from our artists-in-residence as we put together the Worldbook. But if you were scouring through the source material, there is plenty to go on to spur the imagination. Pera is described as looking vaguely "Iraqi" or middle-eastern to our eyes with a peasant outfit (until he burns that up). Phryane is described as having long hair and very tall. Regal in bearing at all times.
Torrvick is a typical dwarf, though is a bit grosser than many with very little care to personal hygiene. Vines grow out of his beard. Dorro has spiky blond hair, a little facial hair from the chin and is quite small. He likes to wear coats with many pockets and performance pants. Xion would look Native American/white mixed race to our eyes, just as I am IRL.
Sirena and Jakob Kladivo have ebony skin and are formidable in stature, having been training their entire lives.

Hi. Here's a thought: Elves should be brown skinned.
Here's a reasoned thought: The tolkien-derived elves are long and thin of limb and have an elongated torso. They are essentially what archaeologists/anthropologists refer to as "gracile" (qualification, Im an archaeologist and its way more complex than that). In human evoloution, this is a hot weather adaptation and usually expressed in tropical populations, reaching its apex in sub-saharan africa. An important part of hot weather adaptation is melanin production to protect against UV damage. So if elves had evolved, they would be brown skinned.
Here's a musing:
But, I get it, there is no evolution, only Zuul, so they can be every colour. So why aren't they? Where are the pink elves? Where are the purple elves? Where are the badly coordinated polkadot elves? Where are the starfield, tie-died, houndstooth, paisley and plaid elves?
Fuck it. My next DnD character will be a god damn ever-shifting widows 95 screensaver elf
