Torrvic and Dorro take on Barron Leflure and his men while the new Queens deal with a potential invasion, and some unloyal council members.

I probably wouldn't have even noticed any audio issues unless you mentioned them, lol. Great episode!

Wow. There's a lot of information everyone's not telling each other. Dorro and Torrvic have the Sphere of Ogun and aren't planning on telling anyone anytime soon. Phryane has definitive proof of both their own divinity and a dozen others across the world, knowledge of the God King's fate at The Union, AND that the God King's return was merely an elaborate illusion!! Since it's only been a day since the library, Xion and Phryane haven't even been able to share what they learned about the Fists of Order!! Even though Phryane made really good points about her companions' secret keeping skills, I can't help but feel that if they had a legit pow-wow about everything that's happened during their ONE DAY in Ani, they could figure out a plan for the future. However, even though the Godlings aren't keen on sharing, the fact that the five of them can work in unison with their divinities is a good case for what they can accomplish in the future. If they survive 100 masked men attacking the two God Queens, that is.

Wow. There's a lot of information everyone's not telling each other. Right? As you say, it has been a hell of a day, but it sure would be nice if they could sit down for a few minutes and talk to each other. Also, this is a good reminder that I need to dole out some XP for how everyone is separating player and character knowledge so expertly.

Honestly, you really do. These guys are playing true to their characters so well. Queen Phryane is having royal meetings but what about a meeting with her companions? Obviously there are way too many threats in Ani, so I think it's high time for another adventure on the high seas. Too bad they refuse to have a Pow Wow to figure out what they should do. Find out about the Guidari? Save the God King? Search for the other Awakened? Find the Fists of Barros? Stop fooling themselves and gather an army to take on Kadar?

I've listened to this episode twice now and I still don't get the jokes around the last name "Rivers" (except the Phoenix one, obviously).
This is embarrassing to ask, but why is Pera Rivers such a funny name?

It's just a silly play on words. Like "a pair of rivers" (2 rivers, side-by-side). It's just something one wouldn't want to be named when one is young.

I'm not sure if you read stuff for episodes this old, but:
Did i miss something between 19 and 20? I started listening, and Phryane's mother was in the council room, which wasnt mentioned at the end of episode 19. I'm sorry if I missed something...?
